Calarts Graduation:

As a final farewell to our time at CalArts, my peers, Bonnie Kim & Nicholas Sasano, and I came together to design for the 2026 graduation stage. Our design process began in the Fall of 2025 and after many discussions, I pitched the concept of “Reach for the Stars!”. Ultimately, we wanted to take a more vintage approach by drawing inspiration from Georges Méliès’ Trip to the Moon.

I wanted the theme to encourage graduates to pursue their dreams with determination, no matter how far away they may seem. The stage design would reflect a sense of aspiration, both celebrating the journey that brought us here and the limitless potential of what comes next. It is about looking forward to a future full of discovery, growth, and opportunity.
